Last week Joel was gone to China and Taiwan for work and we needed to get a little creative with some activities. Milwaukee is home to Palermo's pizza and they offer pizza tours so we decided to take a field trip and take the pizza tour. We went with some friends and had a great time!
We were able to learn about how the company got started, that they use all products from the Midwest, and a ton are from the state of Wisconsin. Palermo's has over 300 different pizza recipes they use to make their different varieties of pizzas. We were excited to see the assembly line and watch how they make their pizzas. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let us take any pictures of the assembly line or workers.
We ended the tour with tasting some of their great pizza!
