He opened some cards and presents and his request instead of a cake was his favorite dessert ice cream and brownies.
It was a bit of a challenging birthday weekend as we're dealing with some health issues with Joel's dad. But we tried to make the most of it in between hospital visits. We also struggled with our NCAA tournament brackets all weekend but I won't say anymore on that. Another year older and another year to be thankful for good health.
