Recipe InSeitz

On our way back from Michigan this week we stopped in Chicago to visit my friend Rachael and her kiddos. Her husband was out of town on business too so it worked out perfectly. Rachael reminded me of this good after nap or after school snack. It's not a sweet treat but it's a nice change from regular 'ole crackers. The only bad thing is that you'll need to brush your teeth, have a mint, or some gum handy because you'll have some funky breath after this snack.

Ranch Oyster Crackers

1 oz. package of dry ranch style dressing mix
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
5 cups oyster crackers

Combine first four ingredients and mix together in a bowl or a gallon zip lock bag. Then add the crackers, toss or shake to coat and spread onto a baking sheet. Bake at 250 and gently stir after first 10 minutes. Bake another 10 minutes, remove from oven and cool before serving.
