Swimming with Emma

Friday night we picked up Aunt Leah and cousin Emma from the Lake Express. They had taken the boat across from Michigan. Aunt Leah had a recruiting fair for Hope College in Milwaukee on Sunday and so it worked out great for them to come and visit us for the weekend too. What a treat for Maya to be able to go swimming on Saturday with Emma at the hotel. They had a great time!

Uncle KK came on Saturday afternoon. He had been in Iowa for board meetings at NWC. So Maya and Cora also got to have some fun with him too. Saturday night was the big game between Wisconsin and Ohio State. It was a bit tense because uncle KK is a Wisconsin fan and as you all know Joel is a huge Ohio State fan. Thank goodness the Buckeye's pulled off a "W" and I had a happy husband. Uncle KK on the other hand wasn't too thrilled.

We missed seeing Juliana but she stayed in Holland with G & G because it was homecoming at her high school this weekend. We certainly understand her not wanting to miss out on that!
