50th Wedding Anniversary

50 years ago today Mom & Dad Seitz (aka Gigi & Snazzy) walked down the aisle and said "I Do." Fifty years! Isn't that amazing? 50 years ago a postage stamp was 5 cents, a gallon of milk was 93 cents, a gallon of gas was around 25 cents, and a ticket to the movies was $1.25. The average cost of a new house was $12, 700. Lots has changed over the last 50 years!

We had a wonderful 50th wedding anniversary celebration in Dayton on April 4th. It was over the Easter weekend and we were so grateful for all the friends and family that traveled to celebrate with us. Joel did a rough estimate of how many miles were traveled to and from by everyone in attendance and it was around 28,500 miles by everyone. Wow! What a special night to celebrate together! Here are a few pics from the party and they are super informal. Once again we were so focused on many other details of the celebration we didn't do a good job at taking photos.

Here's the happy couple!

Congratulations Mom & Dad Seitz!
So glad we could celebrate with you and we wish you many more years of wedded bliss!
